Attention Coopertown Parents:

The 2008-2009 supply lists are complete for all grade levels. Scroll down to the appropriate grade level and find what supplies your student will need to begin school. Success begins with being prepared for the tasks at hand.

August 1st-3rd will be Tax Free Tennessee. This will be an excellent time to stock up on school supplies needed throughout the year! More information can be found in our Announcements.

Please keep in mind that the 'basic' supplies will need to be replenished throughout the school year.
Please make all supply fee checks payable to Coopertown Elementary School.

2008-2009 Kindergarten Supply List

  • $25.00 Supply Fee
  • 1 box of 8 count fat Crayola crayons
  • 1 box of 24 count Crayola crayons
  • 1 package of construction paper
  • 1 standard size backpack
  • 1 beach towel for rest time (no mats)
  • 1 extra change of clothes to keep at school


2008-2009 First Grade Supply List

    Required Items
  • Backpack
  • 1 box of 8-count Crayola crayons
  • 2 boxes 24-count Crayola crayons
  • 1 package of copy paper for centers from boys or 2 packages of construction paper from girls 
    (to be used in work stations)
  • Supple Fee $25.00 (Supply Fee includes planner, take home folder, pencils, scissors, glue, tablets, and other consumable supplies.)

**Please label all supplies with your child's name.**


Requested Items
The following items are used throughout the school year. These do not need to be labeled with your child's name because the whole class will be using them. Additional requested items may be posted by your child's door.

    2008-2009 Second Grade Supply List

      Required Items
    • 20 No. 2 style pencils
    • $2.50 for paper (purchased from supply cart)
    • Pointed-tip scissors
    • Crayons
    • Small supply box
    • Large glue sticks
    • School glue (like Elmer's glue)
    • $20.00 Class Money (You may send one check for $22.50)
      (This money will be used to order a class t-shirt and purchase student planner, take home folder, and supplies for art math and science.)
    • Students will need a backpack, but please note the rolling backpacks do not fit in the lockers.

    • $20.00 Supply Fee (includes money for Student Assignment Book and Folder, required fee for Scholastic News, and other supplies)
    • 2 unopened packs of 200 sheet wide-ruled notebook paper -or- 3 packs of 150 sheets wide-ruled notebook paper
    • 48 or more pencils (prefer plain/nondecorative pencils)
    • 2 unopened boxes of crayons (24 count or larger)
    • pointed-tip scissors
    • white, washable school glue
    • 5 folders with pockets and fasteners
    • clipboard
    • multiplication flash cards (optional for at home use)

    **No Trapper Keepers, large notebooks or binders, ink pens, pencil sharpeners, mechanical pencils, or pencil boxes! **
